Club Rules
WARMUP
Play at least one game on a non-challenge court. Challenge court opens no sooner than one hour after the first game of the day began.
CHOOSING PARTNERS
When starting a new game, all four players decide on teams, with two goals in mind: spread the talent as evenly as possible and avoid duplicating past pairings.
Exception for challenge court: Winners may stay together.
WHO LEAVES WHEN A GAME ENDS
Players who have played two games leave the court. If all players have played only once, the losers leave the court.
Exception for crowded conditions* on non-challenge courts: All four players leave the court after each game.
Exception for challenge court: Losers always leave; winners also leave if they have played two games. (Challenge-court winners may stay for two games even in crowded conditions.)
SCORING
Play to 11, win by 2 points.
Exception for crowded conditions*: Play to 11, win by 1 point (this does not apply on the challenge court).
PICKING UP BALLS
As a courtesy, please help gather balls as you exit a court.
*Crowded conditions means eight or more paddles are in the drop-in rack.
